- Твердые частицы, находящиеся во взвешенном состоянии. при повышении их концентрации, выражаемой в г/м3 или мг/л, увеличивается мутность воды (см. прозрачность природной воды). являясь основным продуктом эрозии, переносятся водными потоками в водные объекты с их водосборов, а также ветром в виде пыли из нередко удаленных на сотни километров аридных районов (см. климат). антропогенное происхождение – сброс недостаточно очищенных сточных вод.
- Микро- и макропримеси, присутствующие в воде. отрицательно влияют на органолептические свойства воды и возможность ее применения для бытовых и питьевых нужд. удаляются механической фильтрацией.
