Byte order

The processor memory architecture in which bytes of data (typically, integer values) are stored. the two most common orders are: little endian (least significant byte is placed first) and big endian (most significant byte is placed first).

Byte, английский
  1. A group of eight bits.

  2. Байт

  3. A digital word made of 8 bits (zeros and ones).

  4. An ensemble of eight bits of memory in a computer.

  5. A group of bits treated as a unit used to represent a character in some coding systems. the values of the bits can be varied to form as many as 256 permutations. hence, one byte of memory can represent an integer from 0 to 255 or from -127 to +128. the unit of computer memory typically consists of eight bits; 64k, 64,000 bytes or 64 kilobytes.

  6. Primary and secondary memory (ram and magnetic media) are measured in kilobytes (1,024, or 210 bytes) and megabytes (one million bytes). glossary/13 c

  7. A digital word made of 8 bits (zeros and ones). 6 / 43 c

  8. One segment of digital information; usually 8, 16, or 32 bits equal to a single character. defined with a capital “b” as opposed to “bits”, which uses a lowercase “b”

  9. Eight bits of digital data. (sometimes parity and check bits are included, so one "byte" may include 10 bits, but only 8 of them are data.) c

  10. A collection of 8-bits of memory in a computer. i.e. 8 bits is a byte, 1000 bytes is a kilobyte (kb) or 8000 bytes, 1000kb is a megabyte (mb) or 8,000,000 bytes and so on.

  12. A group of eight adjacent bits recognized as a single unit. a byte can represent characters, numbers, punctuation or any special codes. bytes are to computers what words are to humans.

Byte, английский

Byte, испанский

Byte,

Byte addressing on bus, английский

  3. In networks, it is how the components are connected to and operate with one another. the term “network architecture” focuses on how fiber optic system elements communicate including functional organization (services) and configuration (topology and communications)

  4. A domestic picturesque patterned after its chalet prototype in switzerland; usually a two-story house built of rough-cut lumber to enhance its rustic appearance; often a front-gabled, shingled roof of moderate pitch, occasionally a jerkinhead roof; bracketed eaves having a significant overhang; exposed rafters; often, walls of board-and-batten construction; porches typically have flat balusters with cut-outs or stickwork. occasionally
