    An infection which someone gets during a hospital visit, or one which develops among hospital staff comment: hospital infection is an increasingly common problem due to growing antimicrobial resistance and inappropriate antibiotic use. strains of bacteria such as mrsa have evolved which seem to be more easily transmitted between patients and are difficult to treat.
