Third party logistics (3pl)

    Outsourcing of all or part of a firm’s logistics, usually transport or warehousing, to an external specialized service provider. the firm thus seeks to benefit from the scale effects and the expertise of the 3pl- provider in order to obtain a cost- minimizing tailor-made logistics service.
