Decision attribute

Глоссарий по искусственному интеллекту
Decision attributes are the output or target variables in a rough set data analysis. the predictor or classification attributes are called condition attributes, as the decision is conditioned on the values of these attributes. see also: condition attributes, rough set.

Attribute, английский
  1. A characterisitic of an action or production stage in information processing, such as a kiln number or a log grade.

  2. Distinguishing characteristic of a sensation, perception or mode of appearance. colors are often described by their attributes of hue, saturation or chroma, and lightness.

  3. Атрибут

  4. N атрибут, определение (член предложения )

  5. A (usually) named quantity that can take on different values. these values are the attribute`s domain and, in general, can be either quantitative or qualitative, although it can include other objects, such as an image. its meaning is often interchangable with the statistical term "variable." the value of an attribute is also referred to as its feature. numerically valued attributes are often classified as being nominal, ordinal, integer, or ratio valued, as well as discrete or continuous. attribute-based learning attribute-based learing is a generic label for machine learning techniques such as classification and regression trees, neural networks, regression models, and related or derivative techniques. all these techniques learn based on values of attributes, but do not specify relations between objects parts. an alternate approach, which focuses on learning relationships, is known as inductive logic programming. see also: inductive logic programming, logic programming.

  6. A characteristic of an object.

  7. A descriptive declaration that can be applied to programming elements such as types, fields, methods, and properties.

  8. A single characteristic or additional piece of information (financial or nonfinancial) that exists in a database.

  9. For files, information that indicates whether a file is read-only, hidden, ready for archiving (backing up), compressed, or encrypted, and whether the file contents should be indexed for fast file searching.

  10. In a computing system, an inherent characteristic of the hardware and software of a windows computer. such characteristics can be enumerated, but do not need to be measured. examples are memory (ram) and storage size.

  11. In markup languages such as sgml, html, and xml, a name-value pair within a tagged element that describes data or the formatting or properties of data associated with that element.

  12. In screen displays, an element of additional information stored with each character in the video buffer of a video adapter running in character mode. such attributes control the background and foreground colors of the character, underlining, and blinking.

  13. The name or structure of a field in a database entity. for example, the lastname, firstname, and phone are attributes of each record in a phonelist entity. the size of a field and the type of information it contains are also attributes of a database record.

Attribute, английский

Attribute bias, английский
The tendency of stocks preferred by the dividend discount model to share certain equity attributes such as low price-earnings ratios, high dividend yield, high book value ratio, or membership in a particular industry sector.

Attribute byte, английский

A container object that groups related attributes within an object type.

Attribute collection, английский
The sum of attributes gathered during the attribute discovery process.

Attribute default legal, английский

Attribute definition, английский
Объект чертежа autocad, служащий шаблоном для атрибута. значение атрибутов можно присваивать различным объектам в чертеже и извлекать их из него во внешние файлы для создания спецификации материалов.

Attribute definition table, английский
A table of attribute names, numbers and descriptions.

Attribute descriptor, английский

Attribute disclosure, английский
Attribute disclosure is attribution independent of identification. this form of disclosure is of primary concern to nsis involved in tabular data release and arises from the presence of empty cells either in a released table or linkable set of tables afte

Attribute discovery, английский
A process through which the attributes, such as the operating system, of a computer are gathered.

Attribute dropper, английский
A tool that lets you copy the fill, stroke, and effect attributes from one object on the page to another.

Attribute extension, английский
    See: extension of an attribute.

Attribute factorization, английский
    Расстановка описателей

Attribute field, английский
A field in the data source that can contain data and that is an attribute, instead of an element. attribute fields cannot contain other fields.

Attribute filter, английский
In a column definition, the list of attributes that limit the data that is available for a report.

Attribute flow, английский
An authoritative source for an attribute value that can flow its value to other destination directories and systems.

Attribute flows, английский
A mapping of an attribute in one directory to an attribute in another directory so that values of the attribute in the first directory can flow to values of the attribute in the other.

Classification, английский
  1. Assigning data (i e , cases or observations) cases to one of a fixed number of possible classes (represented by a nominal output variable)

  2. Классификация; систематизация; засекречивание

  3. Классификация (упорядоченная группировка явлений и объектов; может утверждаться в качестве стандарта, в том числе национального или международного), см. nomenclature

  4. The work of putting references or components into order so as to be able to refer to them again and identify them easily the abo classification of blood

  5. Классификация

  6. N классификация language typological ~ типологическая классификация classificatory a классификационный matrix classifying a классифицирующий article

  7. The placement of an item under the correct number in the customs tariff for duty purposes. at times this procedure becomes highly complicated; it is not uncommon for importers to resort to litigation over the correct duty to be assessed by the customs on a given item

  8. Классификация; категоризация; сортировка

  9. The process of assigning a set of records from a database (observations in a dataset) into (usually) one of ``small" number of pre-specified disjoint categories. related techniques include regression, which predicts a range of values and clustering, which (typically) allows the categories to form themselves. the classification can be "fuzzy" in several senses of the word. in usual sense, the classification technique can allow a single record to belong to multiple (disjoint) categories with a probability (estimated) of being in each class. the categories can also overlap when they are developed either through a hierarchical model or through an agglomerative technique. finally, the classification can be fuzzy in the sense of using "fuzzy logic" techniques. see also: clustering, fuzzy logic, regression. classification and regression trees (cart) classification and regression trees (cart) is a particular form of decision tree used in data mining and statistics.

  10. Классификация. для порошков (пыли)—разделение образца на фракции по размеру, форме и плотности частиц с помощью жидкости; основано, например, на различной скорости оседания фракций в жидкости или на разном поведении частиц в потоке жидкости.

  11. A systematic organization of classes.

  12. The placement of an incident into a hierarchy of descriptors that indicate what the incident is generally about. for example, an incident could be classified as being related to software, and then to microsoft, and then to word 2003.

Noisy data, английский
Data which contain errors due to the way in which they are collected and measured are usually referred to as being noisy. continuous measurements are often mixed with gaussian noise, unless they are near the upper or lower bounds of the measurement system, in which case the noise tends to be skewed towards the center of the scale. many statistical methods make the a priori assumption that the data is noisy. see also: knowledge discovery in databases, data mining, machine learning. nominal attribute (type) a classical taxonomy for numerically valued attributes breaks them into nominal, ordinal, interval, and ratio types. an attribute is nominal if the meaning of the value doesn`t change if you reorder the attributes or shuffle the values assigned to each meaning. an example would be a variable such as sex, which could be encoded as 0=male and 1=female just as meaningfully as using 1=male and 0=female. since the numeric values of these attributes are arbitrary, any operation beyond counting and manipulations appropriate to proportions are meaningless. see also: interval attribute, machine learning, ordinal attribute ratio attribute.

Support function, английский
Dempster-shafer theory contains a hierarchy of support functions as special cases of belief functions. a simple support function corresponds ``to a body of evidence whose precise and full effect is to support a subset a to the degree s." a separable support function is one that can be obtained by combining simple support functions; a general support function is one that can be generated from a separable support function by "coarsening" its frame of discernment. support functions can be generalized to quasi support functions by considering a sequence of support functions that has contradictory weight that grow to infinity as the sequence goes to infinity. the limit of this sequence is a quasi support function. see also: belief function, dempster-shafer theory, frame of discernment.
