CCTV glossary (глоссарий терминов по видеонаблюдению)
  1. That portion of the composite color signal, comprising a few cycles of a sine wave of chrominance sub carrier frequency, which is used to establish a reference for demodulating the chrominance signal. normally approximately 9 cycles of 3.579545 mhz.

  6. Fissures or ruptures caused by rolling or forging improperly or at improper temperatures.

  7. Signal whose oscillations have a rapid increase in amplitude from an initial reference level (generally that of the background noise), followed by a decrease (generally more gradual than the initial rise) to a value close to the initial level.

  8. Сигнал, колебания которого имеют быстрое увеличение амплитуды от исходного опорного уровня (обычно уровня фонового шума) с последующим снижением (обычно более плавным, чем начальный подъем) до значения, близкого к начальному уровню.

  9. In metal, external or internal rupture caused by entrapped gas.

  10. (1) in metal forming operations, external or internal rupture caused by poor process control or inherent material discontinuities. (2) in acoustic emission, signal whose oscillations have a rapid increase in amplitude from an initial reference level (generally that of the background noise), followed by a gradual decrease to the initial level. compare pulse. c

  11. In metal forming operations, external or internal rupture caused by poor process control or inherent material discontinuities.

Burst (blast), английский

Burst (color burst), английский
  1. Seven to nine cycles (ntsc) or ten cycles (pal) of sub-carrier placed near

  2. Seven to nine cycles (ntsc) or ten cycles (pal) of sub-carrier placed near the end of horizontal blanking to serve as the phase (color) reference for the modulated color subcarrier. burst serves as the reference for establishing the picture color.

Burst (type) acoustic emission, английский

Burst data modem, английский
Модем для передачи данных в виде информационных посылок в прерывистом режиме

Burst density, английский
The fraction of rtp (real-time transport protocol) data packets within burst periods since the beginning of reception that were either lost or discarded. a burst period is a period in which a high proportion of packets are either lost or discarded due to late arrival.

Burst detector, английский

Burst duration, английский
  1. The mean duration, expressed in milliseconds, of the burst periods that have occurred since the beginning of reception.

  2. Interval between the first and last time a specified threshold is exceeded by a particular burst.

  3. Интервал между первым и последним превышением заданного порога конкретным пакетом.

Burst factor, английский

Burst length, английский
The mean duration, expressed in milliseconds, of the burst periods that have occurred since the beginning of reception.

Burst mode, английский
  1. The ability to rapidly capture images as long as the shutter button is held down.also called continuous frame capture.

  2. Also know as continuous mode or “auto wind” on older slr’s. however, today’s digital slr’s have bust modes of up to 8 frames per second. great for sports and action shots.

  3. A camera option that enables users to capture moving subjects by snapping multiple photos on shutter press and allowing the user to pick the best one or just accept the photo recommended by the software. bus (n)

  4. A method of data transfer in which information is collected and sent as a unit in one high-speed transmission. in burst mode, an input/output device takes control of a multiplexer channel for the time required to send its data. in effect, the multiplexer, which normally merges input from several sources into a single high-speed data stream, becomes a channel dedicated to the needs of one device until the entire transmission has been sent. burst mode is used both in communications and between devices in a computer system.
